Day 4 (our generation)
Our generation:

Day 2 (confidence)
There is a thin line that separates confidence from arrogance.
Arrogance is loud while confidence never has to say a word. Arrogance brags while confidence quietly observes. There is a layer of insecurity that dwells beneath arrogance, but beneath confidence lies a layer of certainty.
Day 1 (love)
(I’ve been thinking about this all day. I’ve written and deleted at least seven paragraphs, now. So, I’ll try to condense my random thoughts and keep it simple).
Real love is hard. It’s complicated. Yet, it’s easy and it’s simple. Love contradicts itself. It’s wonderful and heart-wrenching at the same time.
I feel that love can easily be mistaken...

My friend Ricky. This kid could make me smile like no one else. Just thinking about him makes me chuckle. He died my senior year of high school. Whether he’d still be in my life 13 years later, I can’t say. What I can say is that sixteen was far too young.
